Tolarno Hotel

Set in the heart of St Kilda’s cafe, bar and club precinct, the hotel is a short stroll to the iconic St Kilda Beach, Acland Street shops and the Sunday Esplanade Markets. Conveniently located outside the hotel are trams offering direct access to Melbourne’s CBD, the Casino, Southbank and The National Gallery of Victoria.

The hotel features over 160 original pieces of artwork and awards 3 major art prizes each year; via the Victorian College of the Arts (VCA), Monash University and Royal Melbourne Institute of Tafe (RMIT). The annual winners’ artwork is exhibited in the hotel lobby for a 12 month period. Many of the prize-winning artworks in guest rooms have been purchased from the students and the balance from local artists.

Each of the Tolarno Hotel’s 37 guest rooms have been individually styled, with no two rooms being the same, each has it’s own unique colour scheme and original award winning artwork. Our variety of room types offers something for everyone, starting with our smallest room the Piccolo Room, followed by our Standard Room and Standard Room with Balcony, Superior Room, Studio Suite and Two Bedroom Suite. The Tolarno Hotel is the perfect choice for both the discerning corporate and leisure traveller, our goal is to make your stay a comfortable and memorable one.
