Feast Festival

Feast is Adelaide's only LGBTIQ+ Queer Arts and Cultural Festival, the most colourful and diverse fixture of Adelaide’s festival calendar. November transforms into Pridevember, where the LGBTIQ+ community is celebrated throughout Adelaide with a myriad of events. Registrations are open to all, making Feast one of the year’s most diverse rosters of entertainment. Cabaret, drag, theatre, parties, films, balls, exhibitions and sporting events are just a start. The Carnival Opening Night Party always kicks the festivities off and has brought international names to perform like Eurovision winner Conchita Wurst, and homegrown icons like Dannii Minogue and Christian Hull (just to name a few). The annual Pride March precedes the Carnival in spectacular fashion with LGBTIQ+ communities and their allies celebrating in a colourful and passionate procession throughout city. This event was started in 1973 and the fact that it continues today is a true testament to the perseverance and resilience of our LGBTIQ+ communities. Feast concludes with the family friendly Picnic in the Park, a day for the whole community to come together and celebrate another spectacular Festival. There are community stalls, food vendors, music and the in-famous Dog Show to keep Picnickers entertained. The festival began in 1997 as an inclusive and safe space for the community to express themselves and continues stronger than ever today.
