Situated 30 minutes from Cairns and 5 minutes from Kuranda Village in Tropical North Queensland, the locally owned and operated park has three unique Australian experiences at one convenient location. Board an amphibious World War II Army Duck for a unique rainforest tour on both land and water, where your guide will identify and explain fascinating plants and wildlife as you pass by. Visit the Tropical Fruit Orchard, with over 60 different species of exotic tropical fruit trees. Learn about Aboriginal culture with this interactive experience. In a rainforest amphitheatre, watch a traditional dance performance depicting animals, food gathering, and hunting, then join a guided Dreamtime Walk to try your hand at boomerang throwing and observe spear-throwing and didgeridoo playing. Join a guided tour with our experienced Wildlife Keepers through the Koala and Wildlife Park and see native Australian species such as crocodiles, dingoes, snakes, lizards, and the cassowary. View the only Tasmanian Devils in North Queensland, handfeed kangaroos and wallabies, or have your photo taken cuddling a cute koala or holding a small crocodile at an extra cost.
