Welcome to Fair Day, Canberra’s ultimate all-day rainbow community event!

The SpringOUT festival’s Fair Day is a free, fun and inclusive outdoor event for members of the LGBTIQA+ communities alongside our friends, families and allies.

Alongside the main stage’s non-stop entertainment, Fair Day’s biggest drawcard is its markets. There are over 60 stalls showcasing an abundance of diverse artisan, community, food & drink and other business-related stalls that reflect and celebrate the depth of the queer Canberra community and its tastes.

BACKGROUND

SpringOUT and Meridian have hosted Fair Day as the launch event for the SpringOUT Pride Festival since the festival’s inception in 1999.

Now in its 27th year, Fair Day is a destination event for visitors to the ACT and for locals, with approximately 4000 people in attendance, across all ages.

From 31 October to 30 November 2026, SpringOUT will once again proudly show off Canberra as a friendly, creative and outgoing city with an engaging and exciting LGBTIQA+ festival that delivers positive economic, social and community outcomes.
